About
Zena-Rae (2001) is a versatile creative, unbound by medium. In her essence a visual storyteller and accidentally turned dj, organizer and programmer. After graduating from illustration at Willem de Kooning Acedemy in 2024, her interdisciplinairy graduation project pathways to connection was exhibited at Melkweg Expo.
Since then she has continued her autonomous artistic practice drawing, writing, videomaking and painting, exhibiting her work in Rotterdam at De Zolder, Cult=Us and in Alkmaar in De Grote Kerk. She also gives workshops, makes live illustrations at events, organises nightlife events with her collective AanTafel! and has joined De Stu (an atelier and collective of 13 artists in Rotterdam) and one more thing (i swear this is the last one) she has contributed to starting up the initiative De Avond is Jong, a monthly movie night for young people, at Filmhuis Alkmaar.

have you tried meditating lately? because i always put it off and then when i finally get in to it again it makes me feel so much better, but starting is the hardest part right, idk i thought maybe this was the nudge you needed, go meditate if you feel like it. and especially if you don’t.
